Merchant Republic
Merchant Republic is a type of Republic government, which is made up of five patrician families, the patrician (head) of which with the highest respect (an accumulation of age, prestige, and campaign fund) is elected as ruler upon succession, children can never be elected. Succession of a patrician family defaults to seniority, however patricians can designate an heir who will become patrician upon succession, only men can be patricians.
